Corporate Accounting Integrated with Certified Management Accountant (US CMA) (Kochi)

Eligibility

The minimum qualification required to apply is a pass in the 10+2 examination in Science or Commerce from PUC / ISC / CBSE or an equivalent board. A course recognised as equivalent thereto by the University.

Overview

The JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) Kochi’s Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) in Corporate Accounting Integrated with Certified Management Accountant (CMA, US) programme instructs students in the intricacies of accounting procedures within the corporate realm. A comprehensive programme is offered at the B. Com Corporate Accounting College in Kochi, which emphasises the distinctive characteristics of the various business structures. Upon completion, students are awarded a dual certification in corporate accounting and CMA from the esteemed Certified Management Accounting Association of United States.
Students develop a strong foundation in accounting, auditing, and taxation, with a specialised focus on Corporate Accounting. This ensures a depth of knowledge and expertise in the field of business finance issues. Through case studies, simulations and industrial projects, the curriculum includes theoretical concepts with real-world applications to foster hands-on learning. 

The fourth year, designated as B. Com (Hons), enhances students' expertise and professional competence. It cultivates conceptual and practical comprehension, preparing students for managing businesses and organisations. The students will have an understanding of the Global Financial System, Regulatory Concerns and Operational Aspects of Business. Graduating students are equipped with financial reporting and strategic decision-making within organisations through the integration of corporate and management accounting principles.
