I am a bat enthusiast who focuses on the spatiotemporal habitat usage and diet preferences of the critically endangered bat, Hipposideros hypophyllus. Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. under the guidance of Dr. Chetan Nag K S. Prior to this, I was associated with the Bat Conservation India Trust (BCIT) and played an active role in executing various projects at BCIT. In addition to my research and work in conservation, I also enjoy painting Indian wildlife.

I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Zoology at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) under the guidance of Dr. Chetan Nag K.S. My research focuses on understanding how animals adapt to urban environments in an urban heat island scenario. Specifically, I am investigating the ecological and phenotypical changes of geckos for my Ph.D. study. Through this research, I aim to gain insights into how natural selection might be shaping the trajectory of urban evolution for these animals.
Research Interest: Urban evolutionary ecology, Neuroscience, and cognitive biology
Education: Ph.D. (Zoology, August 2022 Batch) - JAIN (Deemed to be University)
