Driven by a passion for environmental sustainability, Varsha K begins a research journey on sustainable and renewable energy. Recognizing the transformative potential of sustainable energy conversion and storage devices, she is interested in working in this field. Her research commences with exploring H2 production via electrochemical water-splitting reactions. The design of transition metal-based electrocatalysts for water electrolysis is at the heart of her endeavour. Understanding the gap between basic knowledge and practical implementation, she strives to develop efficient bifunctional electrocatalysts that serve as the cornerstone of her research.
Varsha K joined the Centre for Research in Functional Materials (CRFM), Jain University, in October 2023. Before joining CRFM, She worked at the Department of Chemistry, RYMEC, Ballari.
Varsha K likes meeting up with friends and family. She likes to go to the cinema and visit new places in her leisure time.
